Pennine Beats Competition to Win National Retail Installer at Industry Awards
Gateshead based Pennine Home Improvements (who are part of the Crownfold Group) has scooped the award for National Retail Installer of the Year for 2009 at an industry awards ceremony.
The award recognises exceptional achievement in the retail market and a commitment to deliver consistently high quality projects to customers.
Pennine won the award despite stiff competition from over 2,000 companies from across the UK. This follows on from Pennine winning National Conservatory Installer of the year 2008, sponsored by Quantal.
Despite the recent economic climate, Pennine has had a highly successful year and has ambitious expansion plans, which will see further sites opening across the North-East. The launch of these new sites will lead to the recruiting of a further 30 staff within the region.
“We are delighted to have won this award and consider it a testament of our commitment to our customers,” said Graham Auld, Pennine Managing Director.
“The group has witnessed much success over the years, and that includes the current climate. We concentrate on our strengths, which are designing and installing a range of home improvement products from new PVC-U windows and doors, to conservatories, orangeries and sunrooms.”
Brian Webb, spokesman for the Sierra Industry awards, said “Crownfold Group has enjoyed rapid growth, expanding through the acquisition of Pennine to become one of the largest window businesses in the North East.”
“Investment into its operations has successfully supported the company in not only riding out the downturn but in maintaining growth.”
Pennine are leading the way with sustainability and offer the latest in energy efficient products. They now install ‘A’ rated energy efficient PVC-U windows as standard and can save their customers large amounts in heating bills and help them to cut their carbon footprint.
