A P-Shaped conservatory is formed when lean-to conservatories are combined with either an Edwardian or Victorian conservatory. Blending these two styles creates a single structure with a shape very like the letter P.
There is one very simple reason that homeowners often opt to combine these two styles of conservatories; the unique shape creates two very distinct spaces. This effectively means that for the price of one conservatory you can create two new rooms in your home. It is quite easy to use the separate spaces for very different purposes. A popular combination is a stylish semi-outdoor dining space at one end with a cosy relaxing ‘snug’ at the other.
Although the shape gives the feel of two separate rooms, there are no physical barriers so it is perfectly possible to create one larger room if that is your preference. Talk to a Pennine designer about how you would like to use the space. You conservatory will (as always) be made to measure so you will have control over the sizes of each area. Another big factor will be the space that is available for the conservatory.
