Bricklayer/Builder

Pennine Home Improvements are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and skilled Bricklayer/Builder to join their growing building department on a permanent, employed basis.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in both bricklaying, floor construction and groundworks to support small scale structures. The role involves the full construction of conservatory bases –groundworks, bricklaying and laying of floors - at residential properties across the North East, with the support of an employed, skilled labourer.

The successful individual will not only have appropriate experience in all aspects of small-scale building, they will also have excellent time-management skills, the ability to lead and direct on-site, an outstanding work-ethic and will be able to demonstrate extremely high standards of previous work. They also have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, which will enable them to build positive relationships with Pennine customers and colleagues.

Position: Full time, permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per-year

Showroom Advisor Vacancy

Due to significant growth, an opportunity has arisen within our showroom in Benton for an experienced individual with a strong sales background to be appointed to the position of Showroom Advisor.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a sales or lead management environment. This role would be ideal for a sales representative, telemarketer or sales team leader.

The day-to-day of the position involves maximising sales appointments through various lead channels, working in a small team within our flagship showroom and gathering intelligence for the ongoing development of both the sales and marketing operations within Pennine.

At Pennine, the customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. We are therefore looking for someone with integrity, who pays great attention to detail and maintains excellent internal and external relationships (in particular with customers, sales team, field marketing team and telecanvassing team).

The ideal candidate must be able to work some weekends and be available for evening shifts on certain days, (up to 7.00pm), where required. The candidate must be computer literate and a fast learner.

This is a full-time position (40 hours) and the details are:

£22,000 to £24,000 OTE per year which includes a generous uncapped sales commission.
